Eden Brown are recruiting on behalf of the Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust who are looking to appoint a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner based in Burton.
This is a part time (4 days per week), locum role to start as soon as possible for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension. Based at the Burton CAMHS Cross Street Clinic.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The assessment of need and delivery of safe and effective interventions for CYP and managing complex risks, in accordance with recognised clinical guidance.
- Managing and co-ordinating a caseload of CYP with complex MH needs and sharing skills within the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
- Supporting and providing clinical leadership within the CAMHS Team
- Working as part of the MDT and in an integrated way with wider teams and services to meet the needs of the CYP & Families.
- Offering advice, support and supervision to other healthcare professionals.
To Apply for this role you must have:
- First level professional nursing/AHP/Social Work/Therapy qualification in mental health, Social Work Nursing or AHP or equivalent with demonstrable knowledge and continuous post qualified experience/professional development
- Evidence of extensive post registration experience with working with those who may experience complex mental health needs in the community setting
- Experience of working in the role of Care Co-ordinator for those who have difficulty in engaging with services and have complex mental health needs
