FP&A Analyst

Location: Burton upon Trent (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Bonus Scheme: 7.5%

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed company with ambitious growth plans.

This newly created role is part of a strategic investment in the business, which is experiencing strong performance and growth, with an 11-12% increase in revenue. The company is heavily investing in innovative areas and focusing on raising brand awareness, with a medium-term plan to double its profits.

About the Role: The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth plans by focusing on capital expenditure (Capex), working capital, and product margins. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading on product pricing and margins, contributing to financial forecasting and business planning.
  • Supporting large-scale projects by providing valuable financial insights across various operational areas.
  • Learning and using Anaplan, a dedicated forecasting tool, as part of a company-wide initiative to streamline and enhance financial planning processes over the next 12-18 months.

What We’re Looking For: This role would suit a part or newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional with strong Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and Pivot tables. Prior experience in an FP&A or Commercial Finance role would be highly beneficial.
