We are recruiting for a Despatch & Warehouse Operative based in Barton Under Needwood..Role - Despatch & Warehouse OperativeClient - Rail manufacturing sectorSalary - £26,300 (to be reviewed in April)Working hours - 7.30am-4pm Monday to FridayBenefits include - 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Life Assurance, options to sell or purchase additional holidays, staff discounts on products and services.Main Duties:
- Order picking
- Box assembly and banding pallets
- Scanning products
- Processing despatch paperwork and pallet sheets
- Stock control
- Using measuring equipment and counting and inspection of goods received
- Recording goods received on computer system
- Use of weighing scales
- Inventory checks
- Goods In record retention / scanning
- Using forklift day to day
- Collections and deliveries where necessary
Requirements:
- Experience of warehouse duties and despatching of goods
- Forklift licence
- Good IT skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communicator
- Flexible approach
- Manual handling trained
- Full driving licence
