The Role
Hamilton Woods Associates is working with a housing association in Burton-on-Trent to recruit an Electrical Inspector on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team dedicated to ensuring electrical compliance and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of planned and programmed electrical installation and maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring programmes and targets are met.
- Review and validate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) and electrical certifications (DEICR, DEIC).
- Conduct site inspections of ongoing works, offering guidance and ensuring tenant satisfaction with services provided.
Requirements:
- Experience working within social housing in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of EICR reporting, electrical servicing, and surveying.
- Relevant qualifications, including:
- SSSTS (or SMSTS)
- 2391 Testing and Inspection
- Health and Safety Awareness
- BS7671:2018
- ECS Card Holder
- SSSTS or SMSTS (training Provided)
