We are excited to partner with a children's residential home to appoint a Learning Disability Children's Residential Support Worker. This role is dedicated to supporting children with learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication, helping them to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care, guidance, and support in line with Ofsted regulations.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere focused on health, education, and personal development.
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Makaton or PEC's is desirable.
  • A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is essential.
  • Flexibility to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
  • An enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks (we can assist with this).

Rota Example:

  • Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
  • Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
  • Week 3: Wednesday
