Children's Residential Support Worker
Location: Burton Upon Trent, Derbyshire (DE15)
Salary: 27,528 - 32,072 per annum (11.85 - 12.65 per hour plus 60 per sleep-in)
Job Type: Full-time, Long Term to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rolling rota, 08:00 AM - 11:00 PM (including sleep-ins)

We are excited to partner with a children's residential home to appoint a Learning Disability Children's Residential Support Worker. This role is dedicated to supporting children with learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication, helping them to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care, guidance, and support in line with Ofsted regulations.
- Maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere focused on health, education, and personal development.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is desirable.
- Knowledge of Makaton or PEC's is desirable.
- A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
- An enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks (we can assist with this).
Rota Example:
- Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
- Week 3: Wednesday
