Amazing opportunity for a dynamic Luxury Retail Sales Consultant to join this stunning Contemporary Art Gallery.

You do not necessarily need an Art background but a desire to sell a prestigious luxury retail product is essential (product training will be provided). A good appreciation of art is obviously preferred to become a fully-fledged Art Gallery Sales person and be more successful in art sales

Luxury Retail / Sales Consultant / Art Gallery Sales person is required to give outstanding client sales service.

The role is about giving exceptional customer service & making sales but is definitely not a hard sell. You however will be working to reasonable sales targets (personal targets) with the lure of adding commission.

The Art work is stunning and a great product to sell - they offer a diverse range of styles at varying prices to meet every clients’ needs

Being fantastic with clients is their strength, giving them an amazing client experience from start to finish. Galleries, like most luxury retailers, can tend to get lower footfall than most, so you will need to manage the client database during the quieter times. You will proactively & regularly be making phone calls & emails to clients to raise awareness/interest in products in order to generate extra sales. This client account management is key to drive sales & be successful.

You will work 5 days per week, with weekends regularly as it's a busier time of the week. You should also be open to working on your own at times as it's a small team.

The ability to drive is highly preferred as they do a home consultation service, which is a lovely extra service they offer clients.

The advertised salary is an OTE (on-target earnings) which includes both basic & commission. You have the potential to go higher than this if you exceed targets. If shortlisted, please feel free to ask for clarification on this.
