Sales Account Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Sales Account Manager within the End User / Trade Distribution Division.

This role is crucial for developing and maintaining business relationships to meet sales targets and expand our customer base in line with our corporate strategy.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and maintain business relationships for all allocated accounts in the assigned territory.
  • Seek new activity avenues and identify market trends to expand the customer base.
  • Establish and implement clear strategies to meet and exceed target expectations.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service for both current and prospective customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly team and account-specific sales targets.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and competitive pricing on all prospect applications.
  • Prepare and present company presentations for client meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports using Exchequer and Salesforce.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day supply chain issues to meet customer service level agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an account handling/sales management role.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as required.
  • Full clean UK Driving License.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is desirable.
