Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our design department, overseeing the creation of innovative and visually stunning designs across various projects. You will be responsible for managing a team of designers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Core Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster their professional growth and development, this will be a mixture of internal resources and external resource.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the workload is distributed evenly and aligns with each team member's skills and expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and excellence in design.

Design Project Management

  • Oversee all aspects of design projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish project goals and objectives.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high standards of design quality and consistency across all projects, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Establish and enforce design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure brand consistency and visual coherence across all channels and platforms.

Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, and external partners to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback, and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for design-related inquiries, feedback, and requests, and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise.
