We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Sales Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in the ITAD industry, combined with exceptional sales skills. This role involves effectively communicating our product offerings to clients, identifying customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring their technical needs are met.
  • Present and demonstrate service features and benefits to customers, showcasing how our solutions can address their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for growth within the industry.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, utilising CRM tools to track progress and forecast sales performance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations that clearly communicate technical information in an understandable manner.
  • Educate customers on our zero-landfill policy and the benefits of services like cable recovery and granulation.
  • Work with operations teams to ensure seamless collection and processing of cables, e-waste, and other IT assets.
  • Arrange and participate in on-site data destruction or cable recovery demonstrations to build client trust.
  • Identify opportunities to bundle services such as cable recovery, data sanitization, IT refurbishment, and recycling to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Provide customers with detailed reports on recovered materials and their environmental impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a technical sales role or similar position, with a strong understanding of IT recycling services.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills, enabling effective prioritisation of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset, with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals through our solutions.
