Summary

As a Welcome and Service Assistant joining us for the festive season you’ll work in the House, helping the Collections and House team deliver high quality customer service and ensuring our visitors have a magical experience. You’ll provide a warm and friendly welcome, give information about the property and the festive offer, answer questions, and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable time.  

Salary: £11.64 an hour

Duration: Fixed term contract starting from the end of November 2024 until January 13th 2025. 

Hours: Flexible hours to be discussed at interview with a variety of shift patterns. Likely to be around 25 hours per week. This role will require regular weekend working as well as high season dates including Boxing Day and New Years Day, but again we would discuss your availability upon successful completion of your application.

Interview Date: Thursday 24th October 2024

Reporting to the Senior Collections and House Officer, you’ll be part of the Collections and House team working at Ickworth. Ickworth is a busy, forward-looking property and the friendly, creative team is looking for engaging people who will enjoy this fast-paced environment.

Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. 

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.  This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
