We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our growing organisation. This role is office-based with occasional remote working permitted and involves a wide range of HR functions, from policy development to employee induction and legal compliance.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist with the collation and production of company policies for staff.
  • Produce regular communications for distribution to site and office staff.
  • Oversee the induction process for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
  • Ensure legal compliance with employment laws and changes to maintain organisational standards.
  • Issue contracts and other required documentation to new and existing employees.
  • Monitor sickness absence and holidays, maintaining accurate records for HR purposes.
  • Manage grievances, disciplinaries, and other issues requiring impartiality, ensuring fair treatment and compliance with company policies.
  • Liaise with ACAS and other external organisations when issues arise to resolve them effectively.
  • Help improve and upskill training and skills throughout the organisation, contributing to employee development.
  • Oversee the company's mental health strategy, including coordination with mental health first aiders.
  • Utilise our BrightHR platform for efficient HR management.
  • Assist in the management and administration of the pension scheme, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
  • Produce job adverts and oversee the hiring process, including crafting job offer letters and managing responses.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification required.
  • Proven experience in HR administration, preferably within a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in using HR software, such as BrightHR.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
