My client are looking for an Inside Sales Rep to help expand sales efforts across UK and Europe and contribute to our mission of driving the global transition to sustainable power.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Follow up on inbound leads to understand customer needs and develop new revenue opportunities.
- Research potential customers and pre-qualify opportunities to add to the sales pipeline.
- Utilise various communication methods (phone, email, social media, in-person) to connect with customers.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure leads are matched with the appropriate expertise.
- Respond to customer inquiries with high levels of customer service.
- Maintain accurate CRM records from initial contact to closing.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying additional revenue opportunities.
- Work closely with Marketing and Sales Teams to maximize lead generation and prospect conversion.
- Stay updated on product and application knowledge to effectively present company offerings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and self-starting individual with a proactive approach to sales.
- Fluent in English
- Basic technical understanding to support product selection and customer applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills.
- Resilient and able to handle rejection, with a friendly personality and good relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in using various communication platforms (email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Teams).
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Ideally, a qualification in a technical subject and at least 3 years of sales experience.
