Sales Administrator - Bury St Edmunds - 25-26k (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This role is essential in supporting Account Managers and providing top-notch customer service to a broad customer base, including end-users, tradespeople, builders, and installers. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are ready to develop within a supportive team, this role offers clear paths for progression.

Salary: 25-26k

Hours: 08:00am-17:00pm (Mon-Fri)



Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to both new and existing clients.
  • Support the internal sales team by handling administrative tasks, producing quotations, and processing orders.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via live chat on the company website and through email.
  • Assist with returns and credits, maintaining high accuracy in processing all requests.
  • Identify sales opportunities and forward them to relevant Account Managers.
  • Review customer plans/specifications and provide recommendations to match their needs.
  • Address technical queries when necessary, ensuring prompt and accurate information is provided.


What We're Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly, energetic personality with a proactive approach.
  • Strong organization skills and confident telephone manner.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience within a sales environment is advantageous, but full training on systems and products will be provided.
