The Retirement Housing Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a retirement housing community. This position involves ensuring that residents receive high-quality services while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. You will be based in the IP33 area of Bury St Edmunds
Full time temp to perm position, working 36.25 hours a week Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
16.45 per hour PAYE
21.83 per hour UMB

Duties

  • Manage the overall operations of the retirement housing facility, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Daily communication with the residents.
  • Reporting any repairs .
  • Coordinate resident activities and events, fostering a sense of community within the housing environment.
  • Liaising with contractors within the service.
  • Assessing residents needs/requirements
  • Address resident concerns promptly and effectively, promoting a positive living experience.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the retirement or healthcare sector is preferred.
  • Current enhanced Adult DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service is required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution is necessary for this role.
