Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 basic + commission/bonus (OTE up to 50,000 per annum)



Berry Recruitment are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join a growing team based in Bury St Edmunds.



In this role, you'll be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of services/products. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to meet client needs and exceed expectations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trusted client relationships.

  • Understand clients' goals, challenges, and industry trends to deliver tailored solutions.

  • Develop account plans to grow business within existing accounts (upsell, cross-sell).

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, operations) to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Track account health and performance metrics, addressing issues before they escalate.

  • Lead regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategy discussions with clients.

  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and account status in CRM tools.

  • Meet or exceed account growth, retention, and satisfaction goals.



What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an Account Manager, Client Success, or Sales role (2-5 years preferred).

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

  • A consultative, customer-first approach to problem solving.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales pipelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
