Salesforce Administrator Position Overview The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our Salesforce CRM platform. This role serves as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment and collaborates with stakeholders to identify and implement new business processes, customizations, and integrations to optimize the platform's functionality and drive user adoption.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage user setup and role hierarchy, security model, workflows, and validation rules
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality
  • Customise Salesforce objects, page layouts, fields, record types, and custom apps to enhance functionality
  • Perform regular system maintenance, data cleansing, and optimization
  • Evaluate and install AppExchange packages to extend Salesforce capabilities
  • Provide end-user training and create documentation for system processes and features
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues, ensuring minimal business impact
  • Implement and maintain data integration processes between Salesforce and other business systems
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and functionality to recommend and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Active Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) required
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related features
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts, and workflow rules
  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and list views
  • Familiarity with data management tools and integration methods
  • Understanding of data security and sharing models
  • Knowledge of Apex and Visualforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with Salesforce innovations
