Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Do you have experience working in plastic manufacturing? Have you previously run an injection mould machine? If so, the following position may be perfect for you.

Due to the nature of the workload, we are only able to accept candidates with experience on injection mould machines. If you have only worked as an operator, then we still want to hear from you.

Duties include: -

  • Set up injection moulding machines according to requirements, including installing moulds, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment.
  • following standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Monitor machine operation during production runs, adjusting temperature, pressure, and other parameters to improve production quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, moulds, or materials to minimise downtime and maintain continuous production.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks on injection moulding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts as needed.
  • Inspect finished products for quality defects, such as air bubbles, warping, or incomplete fills, and adjust machine settings or processes as necessary.
  • Record data accurately, including cycle times, material usage, downtime, and any quality issues encountered.
