An opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Advisor to join a growing business in a full-time role, reporting to the Finance Director. This varied position covers payroll processing, HR administration, and employee support across two sites. This role has become available due to a departure within the team and is the perfect opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge to add value to the organisation.As the incoming Payroll Advisor, you will be tasked with the following:
  • Processing payroll and maintaining accurate records 
  • Managing the time and attendance system and ensuring accurate timesheet data
  • Handling payroll queries and updating employee records for contractual changes
  • Supporting HR with onboarding, employment checks, and maintaining records
  • Coordinating training and acting as the lead for BSI compliance
  • Being the first point of contact for payroll queries on-site
The successful candidate will have previous payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. They will be highly organised, proactive, and confident in handling confidential information. GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent) are required, and experience with time and attendance systems or working towards a payroll qualification would be beneficial. You will be required to travel to Felixstowe weekly within this position, so you must be comfortable with this for your application to be considered. This role is a great opportunity for someone who specialises in Payroll and is seeking a new challenge.
