Company & Project: Apple Technical Recruitment are working with a longstanding and established Main Contractor, who operate across the Retail, Commercial and Industrial sectors, to recruit an experienced an effective Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to complement their Commercial Management team, office based in Suffolk, leading their own projects valued between c£500k-£4m.
Our client has a strong order book and busy pipeline of projects and is looking to proactively bolster it's commercial team.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing daily commercial management functions, including but not limited to; measurement & valuations, applications for payment, reconciling accounts, dealing with sub-contract enquiries, through to practical completion of the project and settling final accounts.
Desirable Experience:
- Minimum 2 years+ experience as a QS on Construction projects.
- Good communication skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Previous Roles: Quantity Surveyor OR Project QS OR Intermediate Quantity Surveyor OR Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or comparable.
