Quantity Surveyor - Groundworks

Our client is a well established groundworks contractor that has undergone continuous grown and is seeking an additional Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding business. Operating across the Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire, the company deliver multiple contracts for Groundworks and Civils projects and are looking for someone to oversee a number of these contracts.
The Quantity Surveying role is office based with occasional site visits reporting in to the Commercial Director.
Duties will include;
- Produce monthly cost & value reports, quarterly reports & cash flow information
- Deal with client retentions
- Prepare estimates and cost plans
- Carry out construction valuations through applications
- Manage client disputes
- Issue final account statements
- Arranging sub-contractor tenders
- Maintaining subcontractor invoices and certifying payments
- Carry out site visits and attended relevant meetings
- You should have excellent client facing skills and be keen to work as part of a dynamic team.
The Quantity Surveyor
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Background in residential groundworks is essential
- Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience
- Good pre and post contract experience
- Comfortable working with clients and a cross sector of projects
