Attwood Perks is currently partnering with a forward-thinking business in Bury St Edmunds who are looking for a creative and solution-orientated Management Information Developer to be an integral part of their expanding team on a permanent basis.

As MI Developer in this highly credible business, you will be comfortable in understanding business requirements, handling large sets of data and be experienced in building meaningful reports in order to help make crucial business decisions.

There is a rising demand for business intelligence to allow the stakeholders to make fast commercial decisions so the successful MI Developer will have proven experience in using the MS stack and a passion for delivering quality solutions.

This role is ideally suited to someone with:

  • Ability to write, modify and edit SQL queries
  • Great analysis and requirement gathering skills embedding Best Practice data analysis and development into business processes
  • Good report creation and design skills coupled with the ability to work closely with the business to help define complex reports
  • Ability to translate business concepts into technical report specification
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012/2016
  • Competency with SSAS and SSRS
  • Exposure to Microsoft SSIS and ETL processes
  • Writing T-SQL, creation of jobs, stored procedures and functions
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to create efficient solutions and resolve technical issues
  • Experience working in an agile and interactive development environment

Desirable Experience:

  • It would be beneficial to have experience of analysis services;
  • Support of the entire reports and data process including requirements gathering and design, risk and issue management, testing, deployment, and production support;
