This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a successful team, working closely with the lead Partner to deliver exceptional services to a broad and diverse client portfolio.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll take on a pivotal role in building and maintaining key client relationships, preparing accounts for a wide-ranging client base, and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities

  • Support on a diverse client portfolio, managing key relationships.
  • Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
  • Mentor junior staff and supporting with their career growth.

What the client is looking for:

  • Recently ACA or ACCA qualified or near to finishing.
  • Prior experience working within an accountancy practice.
  • Confident using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills
