Time Appointments are delighted to be working alongside a forward-thinking, award winning family run business who are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator. This role will suit an individual with the motivation and dedication to succeed along with the ability to drive the business forward.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To manage a fleet of vehicles for all customer requirements.
- Responsible for getting the right vehicles to the right locations on time.
- Schedule, dispatch and track vehicle fleet daily.
- Ensure compliance of vehicles/ Trailers and LGV drivers in accordance with company policies and all industry regulations.
- Managing and monitoring a team of drivers.
- Liaise with fleet regarding any training requirements for LGV drivers.
- Full and complete incident/accident reporting and management.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience of working within a similar Transport role
- Demonstrable customer account management experience, with the ability to maintain long-term business relationships
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
