Time Appointments are delighted to be working alongside a forward-thinking, award winning family run business who are looking to recruit a Transport Coordinator. This role will suit an individual with the motivation and dedication to succeed along with the ability to drive the business forward.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To manage a fleet of vehicles for all customer requirements.
  • Responsible for getting the right vehicles to the right locations on time.
  • Schedule, dispatch and track vehicle fleet daily.
  • Ensure compliance of vehicles/ Trailers and LGV drivers in accordance with company policies and all industry regulations.
  • Managing and monitoring a team of drivers.
  • Liaise with fleet regarding any training requirements for LGV drivers.
  • Full and complete incident/accident reporting and management.

Key Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience of working within a similar Transport role
  • Demonstrable customer account management experience, with the ability to maintain long-term business relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
