We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients fast paced finance team within a large Manufacturing Business in the Bury area. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or qualified by experience Management Accountant to join a fantastic, well established Finance Team in the Bury area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting process and help prepare financial forecasts.
  • Accounts Preparation: Assist in the preparation of full sets of Year-End and Month-End Accounts including - P&L, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet Recs, Cashflow, Debtor Analysis and Stock Analysis.
  • Audit Preparation: Compiling documentation and assisting with audit where required
  • Transactional Support: Review and process accounts payable/receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Costing: Process of Cost Recovery with detailed Cost and Absorption analysis
  • Reconciliations: Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to accounting systems and processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, financial regulations, and reporting standards.

About You:

  • Education: Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) recognized professional qualification
  • Experience: (Qualified by Experience) Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: A proactive team player with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
