About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant or Assistant Management Accountant seeking their next challenge in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchase-to-pay processes, including supplier onboarding and payment runs.
  • Oversee site debit card and petty cash transactions.
  • Handle sales invoicing and resolve funding-related queries.
  • Take responsibility for credit control.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations.
  • Support payroll processing and cost reallocations.
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheets.
  • Forecast cash flow and implement budgetary controls.
  • Participate in monthly P&L meetings.
  • Assist with finance IT system implementation.
  • Contribute to developing finance processes and policies.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial processes.
Skills & Experience:Essential:
  • AAT Level 3 or above, with a willingness to continue studies.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong IT and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
Desirable:
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Hands-on experience in transaction processing and financial analysis.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
