Are you a talented and detail-oriented finance professional seeking your next career opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 based in North Manchester, near motorway links, this is an onsite position.
Role Summary:
The Management Accountant will play a key role in preparing, analysing, and reporting financial information to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of management accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Accurate and timely reporting using Group reporting tools
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on  project costs and gross margins
- P&L reporting and monthly sales forecasts.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and detailed cost recovery processing
- Managing FX forward contracts and ensuring compliance with hedge accounting policies
Your Profile:
- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a Management/Cost Accountant role. Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous
- Education: A professional accounting qualification is desirable, but equivalent experience will also be considered
- Skills:
- Strong IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience with ERP systemsÂ
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Availability: Able to start ASAP
