Our client based in Bury are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join their busy finance team. The company are going through a period of growth and due to the increase in workload, need someone to deal with the transactional accounting duties.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the companies finances by organising and recording incoming and outgoing payments
- Ensuring timely payments are made
- Maintaining accurate bank reconciliations
- Preparing financial statements
- Processing payments coming into the business
- Dealing with payment queries
- Support across the finance team where needed
You will have worked within an accounts office and have experience of purchase ledger or payment processing. You must be organised and have excellent communication skills.
