Pay Bracket: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

We are working with a leading business based in Manchester who specialise in supporting SMEs across the UK. They are proud of their heritage, after two decades of supporting and empowering 100s of businesses, it's understandable.

Our client is going through an exciting period of growth, and their team now needs to expand and recruit an experienced Bookkeeper to work alongside the existing Finance team.

Your main roles and responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
  • Update and maintain the general ledger
  • Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
  • Recording of debits and credits
  • Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
  • Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
  • Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
  • Monitor any variances from the projected budget

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficient in using accounting systems, preferably Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in excel and all Microsoft apps.
  • Strong collaboration, team communication
