Bookkeeper
- Annual Salary: Equivalent to £45k full-time

- Job Type: Part-time (3 or 4 days per week)
We are seeking a bookkeeper to join our well-established company in the Warrington area. This part-time permanent position offers flexibility with the option to work over 3 or 4 days per week. The role is ideal for someone with strong experience in financial record-keeping and proficiency in Sage 50.
Duties
- Managing financial records using Sage 50
- Handling the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger effectively.
- Conducting costing to track and allocate project expenses.
- Processing bank payments and managing cash flow.
- Preparing PAYE journals and managing payroll transactions.
- Completing VAT submissions in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 including CIS
- Strong understanding of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, and general bookkeeping.
- Experience with project costing and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of PAYE and VAT processes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
