Commission Analyst

Location: Bury, ManchesterSalary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Our client, a leading business gas supplier in the commercial sector, is seeking a Commission Analyst to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, ensuring commission payments to brokers are accurately calculated and processed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with brokers and third-party intermediaries (TPIs).
  • Setting up new broker details on internal systems.
  • Conducting data cleansing and processing tasks.
  • Generating standard and ad-hoc reports.
  • Providing monthly reporting packs to the Senior Management Team.
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure commission payments are processed accurately and on time.

Person Specification:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills (IF statements, VLOOKUPs, Indexing, and Pivot tables).
  • Knowledge of VB (Visual Basic) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
  • Confident, self-disciplined, and able to work independently.
  • Well-organised with strong time management skills.
