Location: Bury (Office) with regular travel across the North-West

With over 50 years experience within the industry, they have delivered a range of diverse projects in many sectors including Water, Environmental, and Powerto name a few. Our client prides themselves on building long-term business relationships, working with their clients to provide innovative solutions to traditional construction problems.

The role

As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee sites, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for managing relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, and for visiting siteson a regular basis. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and oversee multiple construction sites
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
• Manage up and down - effectively communicate with senior leadership while managing site teams and relationships with contractors
• Ensure smooth project delivery in line with drawings and specifications
• Attend weekly office meetings and site visits
• Maintain attention to detail and process

We are looking for a Contracts Manager with a diverse background in civil engineering projects, managing multiple schemes at one time providing impeccable stakeholder engagement to the client. As well as:

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, from senior leadership to site teams
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• A proven track record in managing construction projects
• Flexibility to travel to sites and attend office meetings
