Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assist students with their learning needs, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the teacher with planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with additional learning needs.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support the teacher in assessing student progress and keeping records.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Work with students to improve literacy, numeracy, and other key skills.
  • Help supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other activities as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum and child development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to support students with a range of learning needs.
  • Team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • DBS check required.
