We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our SEND pupils in their educational journey.
The Role:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant working with SEND pupils, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of additional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) to implement individualised support plans and ensure that pupils can access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for SEND pupils, both inside and outside the classroom.

Assist in implementing strategies and interventions to support pupils' learning and development.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to plan and deliver appropriate learning activities.

Support the social, emotional, and behavioral development of SEND pupils.

Help with the preparation and adaptation of teaching materials to suit the needs of individual pupils.

Monitor and track pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and SENDCo.

Ensure the classroom is a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students.

Support pupils in accessing all aspects of school life, including extracurricular activities and social interactions.
What We Are Looking For:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary school setting.

Strong understanding of SEND and the ability to implement specific strategies to support learning and development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, caring, and empathetic approach to supporting children.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
