This is an excellent opportunity to join an independent sustainability consultancy who specialise in providing expert environmental services to a nationwide client base. They are on the lookout for an experience and qualified BREEAM Assessor to hit the ground running on a range of their high-profile projects within the construction industry.

Role responsibilities for a BREEAM Assessor include:

  • Deliver BREEAM Assessments from early design stages of projects through to project certification
  • Help contribute to the delivery of BREEAM projects and ensure they comply with UK building legislations and standards
  • Work alongside architects, engineers, and members of the design team to ensure the environmental impacts of projects are minimised
  • Produce technical reports and relevant sustainability strategies and statements
  • Take the lead on current projects as well as securing new projects for the company

The ideal BREEAM Assessor will have:

  • Relevant degree within an environmental science, sustainability, or architecture field
  • Relevant experience within a BREEAM or sustainability consultancy role within the built environment industry
  • A BREEAM Assessor qualification such as a BREEAM New Construction qualification with demonstratable experience delivering BREEAM assessments
  • Previous experience leading on and delivering BREEAM related projects within the construction industry
  • Experience carrying out Whole Life Cycle Assessments using OneClick LCA would be advantageous
