The Role: As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, providing essential support to the senior management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in accountancy within a dynamic practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns.
- Supporting clients with bookkeeping services and resolving any queries.
- Supporting junior team members with training and development.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Contributing to ad-hoc projects as required by the practice.
Requirements:
- AAT part qualified/qualified, or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (or QBE).
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
