This hybrid role incorporates homework, office work, and regular site visits. A willingness to travel nationally is essential. Candidates should be based in commutable distance from Enfield.
Role Description:
- Provide competent advice, support, and guidance to managers and key stakeholders relating to health, safety, environmental, and quality risks.
- Develop, implement, and manage risk assessments, method statements, and safe work systems.
- Develop, implement, and manage risk and compliance policies, procedures, and processes.
- Maintain and continually improve their ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 27001 certifications, feeding into the IMS.
- Report and investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses, Including RIDDOR
- Support the implementation of a new integrated accident, incident, near miss and investigation system.
- Facilitate local business-specific H&S committee meetings.
- Plan audits, inspections, and reviews.
- Ensure Crown maintenance of certifications and awards such as Safe Contractor, CHAS, ROSPA.
- Provide monthly data-driven dashboards and insights on compliance levels in their area of operations.
- Support the Training Manager in developing and conducting Risk and Compliance Training for staff and subcontractors/service partners.
Requirements
- Nebosh Certificate
- Experience working in a multi-site business or a complex single site.
- Ideally logistics experience or experience in a similar industrial setting.
- Experience with ISO management systems and accreditation would be beneficial.
- UK Valid Driving Licence and willingness to travel are essential.
