Desk Based IT Account Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Help grow sales of IT Services portfolio
- Cross / Upsell into those customers
- Win net new logo customers
- Achieve set targets
- Input to business planning and marketing campaigns
- Design corporate presentations and proposal templates
- Write tender responses
- Help maintain existing contracts and relationships
- Embrace the businesses core values and provide constructive ideas for improving service, working methods and environment.
- Play a key role in the business unit achieving agreed goals and growth plans
Essential:
- Strong IT and cyber security knowledge
- Experience in IT sales
- Reliable, responsible, well organised self-starter
- An eye for uncovering opportunities not directly related to opportunities already expose by the client
- Able to master new technologies quickly and effectively
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent proposal writing skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to continue good relationships with Engineering team
Desirable:
- Excellent understanding of the marketplace and solutions
- Commercially aware with focus on competitor activity and products
- Strong telecoms background would be advantageous
- Proficient ICT skills
- Clean Driving Licence
