Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the IT industry, ideally with experience working in Managed Services Providers (MSP). This role requires an individual who excels in building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and delivering exceptional service to valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IT and Telecoms products and services, ensuring clients benefit from the full range of offerings.
  • Account Growth: Drive revenue growth within assigned accounts by expanding the scope of services and solutions provided, and securing renewals.
  • Customer Retention: Work proactively to retain clients, addressing any concerns and resolving issues promptly to ensure continued client loyalty.
  • Solution Selling: Collaborate with clients to understand their IT and Telecoms challenges, and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic account plans, setting objectives, and achieving sales targets.
  • Market Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Account Manager role, preferably within the IT industry, with a focus on Managed Services Providers (MSP).
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and close deals, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Client-Focused: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT and Telecoms solutions, including cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and telecoms infrastructure.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to address client challenges with innovative solutions.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software to manage accounts, sales activities, and pipelines.
