Overview of the roleResponsible for the provision of a high quality and comprehensive stock condition surveys to enable Asset Planning and Stock Management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • To lead on and co-ordinate the processes and procedures for stock condition surveys and to work with colleagues to capture and provide data from their inspections in other service areas in a consistent and accurate manner.
  • To prepare and carry out a 5 year rolling program of stock condition surveys prioritising properties as appropriate to their condition, last inspection date and other relevant factors.
  • To undertake surveys to a range of Council owned property and assess the age and condition of properties and their individual components and issue works orders for urgent works.
  • To co-ordinate processes for the capture of stock condition data from other Council staff who undertake inspections / surveys of Council property to maximise the opportunities for gathering and maintaining accurate stock condition data.
  • To populate the stock condition database efficiently and in a timely manner with data relating to the condition of property and other legislative requirements.
