Stock Control Assistant wanted in Greater Manchester!
KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a nationwide, leading independent kitchen retailor to help them find a Stock Control Assistant to join their team.
Full time permanent position, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, paying £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Your responsibilities will include:
- Determining demand and raising orders for UK components (handles/bins/Glass etc)
- Booking in external Purchase Orders (UK and Italy)
- Raising internal Production Orders for customer requirements and stock requirements
- Updating company production schedule
- Producing cut lists for production
- Checking supplier invoices
- Raising internal orders for our spray department
- Booking in stock from internal spray orders
- Stock counts - inputting data on to the system
- Assisting with stock order forecasting
Requirements:
- Excellent excel skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Extremely organised
- Ability to multi-task and work in constantly changing environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams
- A friendly, positive and solution-focused attitude
- A strong understanding of kitchen components
- Keen eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in their work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Previous experience in purchasing or working for a manufacturer would be a definite advantage but full training on processes will be given. Previous KBB experience, particularly in the kitchen sector is essential.
