Stock Control Assistant wanted in Greater Manchester!

KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a nationwide, leading independent kitchen retailor to help them find a Stock Control Assistant to join their team.

Full time permanent position, Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, paying £25,000 - £30,000 DOE

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Determining demand and raising orders for UK components (handles/bins/Glass etc)
  • Booking in external Purchase Orders (UK and Italy)
  • Raising internal Production Orders for customer requirements and stock requirements
  • Updating company production schedule
  • Producing cut lists for production
  • Checking supplier invoices
  • Raising internal orders for our spray department
  • Booking in stock from internal spray orders
  • Stock counts - inputting data on to the system
  • Assisting with stock order forecasting

Requirements:

  • Excellent excel skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Extremely organised
  • Ability to multi-task and work in constantly changing environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams
  • A friendly, positive and solution-focused attitude
  • A strong understanding of kitchen components
  • Keen eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in their work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Previous experience in purchasing or working for a manufacturer would be a definite advantage but full training on processes will be given. Previous KBB experience, particularly in the kitchen sector is essential.
