Vacancy Description: Private Law Solicitor - Family Dept.

Location: Bolton/Bury Office

Hours: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm - Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Salary: Negotiable depending upon experience.

We have a vacancy for a private law solicitor (4 yrs PQE) who can run a caseload of divorce/finance and children files to work in our busy family department based at our Bolton/Bury office.

The position will involve travel to courts and other offices therefore candidate must have a car available for work use.

Ongoing training, guidance and support from the team is provided.

Job role

Working within a busy office with a friendly team of people, you will be expected to carry out the following duties:

Run own private caseload and work independently
Capability of undertaking a mix of Legal Aid & Private Family work in all areas
Ability to use CCMS and have a sound understanding of legal aid criteria

Skills Required

Experience in private law
Good organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail (accuracy essential)
Good communication skills
Good IT skills
Ability to work well within a team
Friendly and professional manner
