We are looking for a Science Technician to support our dynamic science department at a secondary school in Bury. This role offers flexibility with part-time positions preferred and available. Role Overview:

Responsibilities:
  • Organising and preparing resources for science experiments.
  • Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and safely stored.
  • Assisting science staff in setting up practical lessons.
  • Keeping the science department organised, tidy, and fully stocked.
  • Adhering to health and safety protocols, including COSHH regulations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • COSHH qualification is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting the science curriculum.
