Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learner Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, assisting them in their academic and personal development.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student's needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional well-being of students.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a supportive and engaging atmosphere for all learners.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting the unique needs of learners.
  • Ability to adapt to various learning styles and implement diverse teaching strategies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a car are preferred, as the school is located in Bury.
