We are currently looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at a secondary school in Bury. If you have previous experience working with children and are passionate about supporting students with special educational needs, we would love to hear from you.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students with a range of needs, supporting their academic and personal development in the classroom. You will be part of a friendly and close-knit school community, where staff are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

The Role:

Support students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) within mainstream classrooms.
Work under the guidance of the class teacher to adapt lessons and learning materials.
Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with specific learning needs.
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural strategies.
Promote an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students.
Help students build confidence and independence in their learning.

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEN setting.
A caring, patient, and understanding approach when working with students with additional needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to be proactive and flexible in supporting students.
A passion for helping students with SEN reach their full potential.
