We are actively recruiting for a Teacher of Religious Education who will play a vital role in helping students explore and understand various belief systems, ethical issues, and moral questions. Beyond simply teaching about religions, you will foster critical thinking, empathy, and respect for diverse perspectives. You will guide students in reflecting on their own values and beliefs, while also encouraging an appreciation for cultural and spiritual diversity.
Academics are acting as an agency and working on behalf of an outstanding school in Bushey to help recruit a Teacher of Religious Education on a permanent contract working full time from September 2025.
The Role - Teacher of Religious education in Bushey
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or early careers teacher to join a fantastic department for a permanent contract.
The successful applicant should be confident teaching religious education up to KS5, up to date with UK curriculum and confident in their ability to follow a scheme of work by creating exciting and engaging lesson plans.

About you:
- Hold qualified teacher Status or equivalent
- Recent experience working in UK schools
- Up to date with UK curriculum
- Specialist knowledge of Religious Education
- Must have a valid Enhanced DBS
