About the role:
- 1:1 Behaviour Learning Support Assistant to support a student with specific learning needs in a mainstream school.
- Facilitate learning by working closely with the student
- Implement tailored strategies to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and compassion for supporting students
- Passion for helping students in their learning journey
- Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred but not essential
The ideal candidate must:
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to obtain one
- Preferred experience working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), though not essential.
- Comfortable and flexible in various classroom environments.
- Ability to assist the teacher both in and around the classroom
- Experience working with small groups of children.
