Operations Manager

Food and Beverage is a key position in the Company. Carrying out continuous customer and staff relations services, the position provides the postholder with a genuinely rewarding experience and provides a springboard to a leisure management career in one of the most attractive and fast growing leisure management companies.
Role Responsibility
  • To ensure the highest possible standards of Health & Safety and legislative compliance are met.
  • Manage operational rotas
  • To assist the Contract Manager in the day to day running of the business.
  • To supervise the day to day operation of all food and beverage outlets in order to maximise profitability in line with the company business plan.
  • To coordinate and oversee all catering outlets and provide appropriate supervision & direction, support, guidance and motivation and empower staff to ensure exemplary levels of customer care are delivered consistently at all times.
  • To deputise for the Contract Manager as requested.
  • To take the lead in all operational aspects of the venue.
  • Being present in our outlets during peak trading times to ensure excellent customer service is being delivered
  • The ideal candidate
  • Previous track record of Operations or F&B management in a similar role.
  • Recognised F&B Service qualifications.
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy, sound financial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure managing multiple workloads.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety.
  • Basic food hygiene certificate.
  • IOSH Managing Safely Qualification or equivalent.
  • First aid certificate.
  • Experience of delivering training using company guidelines
  • Personal License (SCPLH)
