Chemistry teacher - ASAP - Derbyshire Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced Chemistry teacher who can teach key stage 3 & 4 classes to join a school in North Derbyshire as soon as possible. This position is open to NQTs/ECTs as well as more experienced teachers. It is essential that you are a Chemistry specialist to be considered for this role. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment. It will initially be a supply teaching role but will become permanent after a short period. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Derbyshire Position Teacher of Chemistry Start date ASAP Contract type Temp to perm Full time Minimum rate of pay £162.31 per day Hours 8:20 am 4pm, plus meetings when required EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Chemistry Graduate, preferably with a 2:2 or higher UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role Previous experience teaching in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date Prevent Awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate that is registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide a minimum of two professional child related references covering the last 2 years If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
