Premier Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Buxton area on a long-term basis. This role will involve providing 1-to-1 support to a KS2 child to enable them to reach their full potential. The suitable candidate MUST have recent experience working within a school setting and extensive experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1-to-1 support where needed

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working with primary-aged SEN children (Beneficial)
  • A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to supporting learning
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
  • Must hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check
