Description
- Oversee the company's credit control processes and procedures.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Carry out credit checks and set up new customer accounts.
- Handle queries about payments and negotiate repayment plans.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and credit reports.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the credit control function.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of credit control procedures and principles.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
